Shazam

In the world of DC Comics, there is a child that goes by the name of Billy Batson. When he says the word, “Shazam”, he is transformed into the world’s mightiest mortal known as Shazam. This gift that Billy was given is described on the poster as “One word can change everything” because he goes from wanting to save people, to be given that chance.

The color scheme of the poster is based on the outfit of Shazam. The lightning bolt is the predominant part of Shazam’s costume and is expressed in this illustration that is a minimalistic poster by showing his logo and text that describes Shazam. While the overall tone of the poster is muted because nothing fully pops off the page, but all of it is the same tone that gives a more visually pleasing illustration. The text gives a sense of inspiration with the thought of words being a powerful tool.
