The Flash

In DC Comics is Barry Allen, aka The Flash. Being given his powers by a lightning bolt striking him in his crime lab, Barry Allen is changed forever. He becomes known as “The Fastest Man Alive” among other names, he uses his super speed to save the innocent, and in the process become friends with the city which one day builds a museum to honor their City’s hero, The Flash.

The color of this poster is based on the Flash’s costume. This poster is an illustration based on the minimalistic usage of the Flash’s logo and a saying that suits the poster. The font used for the text was chosen to give it a running typography look to match this character. The color for the text was chosen as white because when you read the text with the color and the font, it feels like you are reading it faster, just like how fast The Flash is moving. The colors are made more vibrant by the higher quality paper bringing out the design. This is shown by the logo being brought out to the foreground of the poster because of the contrast between the logo colors and the background’s scarlet red.
